Metroid Dread has FINALLY arrived on the Nintendo Switch! The Metroid series first premiered in North America back in 1987 on the NES and has spawned a fruitful franchise since then. Before Dread, the Metroid series most notably saw Metroid 1 through 4 in 2D side scrolling fashion – directly leading into Metroid Dread. The franchise also saw spin offs including the Metroid Prime trilogy and Metroid: The Other M.
